YZR, YZ series crane motors and metallurgical uses, featured with large overload capacity and adequate mechanical strength, are specially suitable for driving various types of crane and metallurgical machineries of other similar equipment.
YZR series motors are of wound rotors type, while YZ series motors are of squirrel cage type.
1.The motor will operate satisfactorily under following conditions:
1) Ambient temperature not exceeding 40 centigrade(for crane uses) or 60 centigrade(for metallurgical uses).
2) Not above sea-level 1000m.
3) Frequent and significant mechanical vibration and shocks.
4) Frequent starting, braking(electrical or mechanical) or reversing.
2. The rated frequency of the motor is 50HZ and rated voltage is 380V.
3. Connection:The stator winding is connected in Y for 132kw and below and in triangle for the rest. In Y with zero lead is also supplied.
4 The degree of protection of enclosure of metallurgical motors is IP54 and that of crane motors is IP44.

Insulation class: The insulation of metallurgical motors is of H class and that of crane motors is F class
Junction box: The junction box for the stator is fitted on the top of the frame and connection can be made on either side of the frames.
Type of dive: Motors are designed for coupling or spur gear drive when gear drive is used, the pitch diameter of the pinion should not be less than twice of that of the shaft extension.
Brush holder and brush: The brush holders of the YZR series motors are provided with spring of constant pressure of the latest design so that the pressure between the collector ring and brush can remain unchanged while the brush are worn out during operation.
